We at Blankets & Wine would like to sincerely thank you for turning out in your thousands to join us on at Ngong Racecourse for the July 10th edition of B&W featuring Grammy-winning artist Estelle , Muthoni Drummer Queen plus Sage and Jarel.

The festival enjoyed many tremendous firsts: B&W was held on the same day in both Nairobi and Kampala; both festivals were livestreamed online and had a screen dedicate to showcasing the sister festival and we introduced our new festival wine available in Pinotage 2014, Chenin Blanc 2015 and Rosé.

We’d also like to thank our festival partners Westwood Hotel, Nivea, Lintons, Nation Media Group, Jumia Foods, Wow Beverages, Uptown Grill, The Sunday, The Asian Weekly, MoSound, Timeless Occasions Company and Wolfpack East Africa. Thank you What’s Good Networks and livestreaming partner, Eziki.

The festival was made lively and beautiful thanks to fashion pop-up stores by Embody Accessories, Bongosawa, Republi.ke, Adele Dejak, Wanfam and Sandstorm. The live sketches by Naddya and flower crowns by Maua Jua were a marvel. Silent Disco with Blinky Bill and K1 made the perfect party for one while Mix Master Lenny always had the crowd on their feet.

With SwedKen revelers paid one-way and got a ride home for free while Uber had a 20% discount on rides to and from the festival.

All-in-all, we put in the work but you are the ones who collectively bring the vibe. Please continue to share the memories and good times from the festival on our social media accounts (@BlanketsandWine) and reach out to us via info@blanketsandwine.com with any queries or suggestions.
