Blankets & Wine Cancels June Edition in Solidarity with Kenyans

In light of the ongoing unrest within our country, and specifically the anticipated nation wide demonstrations on June 25th, we regret to inform you that we have made the difficult, yet necessary decision to cancel the upcoming June edition of Blankets & Wine that is slated for 29th June, 2025. 

This decision has been made after deep consultations with our security teams and partners who have flagged the situation as volatile and high risk with regards to potential damage to property and physical harm to set up teams. 

Our work is creating and holding space for joy, and while we had planned an exciting experience this June, given the size and scale of our production, we believe it is imperative to prioritize security for our community while also standing in solidarity with fellow Kenyans.  

We acknowledge your disappointment and deeply apologize for all the inconvenience caused. Truly, we are sorry. There will be a full refund for all tickets purchased for the June edition and for season ticket holders, a proportional refund for the June portion of the ticket will be issued. Refunds will be processed within 14 working days via your original payment method.

We remain hopeful for our country and committed to delivering epic editions of the festival in September in Bradford & Nairobi respectively. 

Again, our sincere apologies for the inconvenience, take care of each other in the coming days and hopefully, see you all in September.
