Badu is an American singer, songwriter and record producer. Her musicality includes elements of jazz, hip-hop and RnB and I especially love her because I believe she gave rise to the Neo-Soul genre.

Everybody loves Bob Marley! He was super-talented, being a singer, songwriter, musician and instrumentalist. I love him for his amazing, resonating lyrics and his distinctive vocals.

Fela Kuti
Fela was a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and singer. He was the pioneer of Afro-beat which is my favourite music genre. He remains Africa’s music genius and his music will live on forever.

Cesaria Evora
Cesaria was a Cape Verdean musician who was a musical success in the late 80s and 90s. She was prominent at folk music singing predominantly in Portuguese. Her music and voice is so soothing and even helps me concentrate on my creative works
